Our first time at the Ruby Room.
Brian, giving it that extra 'something.'
Mark was hounded by a fan during this perfromance.
A good time was had by all.

Back at Signature Sound.
Jason setting up.
Kyle was nice enough to make sure Mark was remembered too.
Deep in concentration.
The band tried their hands at helping out on the technical side.
Open notes for tonight...
You can say anything except, "I don't know."
Patrick must have said something funny.
Kyle will be ready when called upon.
Bob Fedeli helping out.
Bob Sheehan takes his turn.
Patrick reliving his past as a mallet percussionist.

Rami Jaffee on piano.
We look like we're really looking at something intently. Really we're just listening. Brian & Kyle with James.
The artist at work...nice hat BTW.
Listening back.
Go ahead, Rami, tell us another one.
Now, where's the party?

Our first real photo shoot.
There is still some open space in our town, so we decided to use it as a backdrop.
Here we're walking on the planet Mars.
So we take off the sun glasses, and three of us squint. Guess who is used to being outside?
Between the cans. Actually storage containers.
Pierce got pretty high before taking this picture. You know what I mean...
We changed the location, but the landscape is pretty similar.
We were looking for a header...
Sort of an 'old west' theme.

Kyle, looking serious as usual.
Bob S., John, Brian, & Bob F. coming up with the night's gameplan.
John, giving suggestions.
...and I will sing you a lullaby...
Bob S., making sure he's not being followed.
Bob Fedeli on the acoustic.
Bob Sheehan, thinking we asked him to play drums.
Acoustic Suspects.
Band's best friend.

Glad John doesn't get confused easily.
Jason, just wanting to remind us that he's available to play other instruments.
Kyle gets his reminder in as well.
As before, Brian has to retreat to his own little cave so as not to upset the delicate balance of things.
Since Mark is doubling as band photographer, this is as close as we get to photo of him.
Back to our regularly scheduled program.
It's always good to have some options on hand.
More options.

Wookie on stage at the 710.
If we knew there'd be so many pictures taken , we'd have dressed up a little.
Outside after the show accepting praise from fans. Fans not visible in image, sorry.

Welcome to Hollywood, boys...
And whatever you do, don't mess up those music stands.
Kyle gets the lighting right first.
John turning knobs while Patrick surfs the net.
During the basic tracks recording we can fix things later if we need to. Except for the drums. Jason needs to be perfect.
"...and that's when I play the big power chord."
Brian needs to be perfect too. No matter how long it takes...
John, Kyle & Patrick...no matter how long it takes.

Setting up...
Maybe we could squeeze in one more mic, just to make sure we get everything?
The musicians get to hang out together in the main room during the basic tracks recording. The singer (look closely, Brian's barely visible on the right) has to hang out in his own room.
The band trying to re-create that 'just hanging out at rehearsal feeling.'
Kyle getting it right.
If a tree falls in the forest, John will hear it.
This picture looks really familiar.
We were in the process of making a big decision here...ordering lunch.
John telling Darius stories about what it was like "back in the day."
Mark seems happy with our sound. Or maybe he's thinking of something else.
Putting Kyle by the reception area means he can answer the phones as well.
The studio room is a big lonely place when you're overdubbing vocals, so we built some walls to make it cozy for Brian.

Please, hold your applause.
Wookie Garcia: Dance Band!?!
Kyle, providing some harmony.
Kyle & Jason rocking out.
Mark doing what bass players do.
Kyle looking determined.
Jason: "why's Brian always in the way?"
This time it's Mark to blame.
Two instruments at once-very impressive.
Kyle playing the strat-must be "Uphill Both Ways."
